Also known as the Hidden Valley, Orakei Korako is the geothermal park that’s furthest from Rotorua and closer to Taupo. While it’s a 45 minutes’ drive from Rotorua, it’s only 25 minutes from Taupo. It’s a smaller geothermal field but in no means less attractive than the rest.
