WebFourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy is examined as a rapid alternative to wet chemistry methods for the detection of adulteration of freeze‐dried instant coffees. Spectra have been collected of pure coffees, and of samples adulterated with glucose, starch or chicory in the range 20–100 g kg −1. WebUntil 2025, the coffee market in Malaysia is forecast to reach 1.75 billion USD (in retail prices), thus increasing at a CAGR of 7.21% per annum for the period 2024-2025. This is a decrease, compared to the growth of about 7.42% per year, registered in 2015-2024.
