WebJul 23, 2007 · pilot jets: 37.5/ 42.5 main jet: 410/430 jet needle: 6CHJ11-82 also, with the pilot jet and main jet what exactly equals 1 size up or down. e.g would one size up on a main jet that is 420 be a 421 or does it go up in 10's? and if my pilot jet is 40 is 1 size up a 41 or does that go up in .5's? hope that makes sense! thanks once again in advance. WebNov 17, 2006 · Wiseco Crank (stk stroke), wiseco .020 pistons, white bros boost bottle, k & N, FMF gold series fatty headers, with power core 2 silencers. The jetting that it was running before the oversized pistons and crank and running in the warm weather (75-85 degrees F) was a 290 main, not sure on the pilot.

Can’t find the correct jetting anywhere, I have a jetting kit that came with the bike but I’m not sure if it has the right jets for my fmf kit. If I’m able to start the bike with the fmf kit on and not blow up my bike then I’d like to know that as well. Thanks 🤙. WebMar 24, 2024 · 32:1 on oil ratio will actually lean out fuel jetting as there is more oil and less gas. Oil is a 2strokes friend, don't try to clean up excess oil by reducing it from Hondas oil/fuel ratio recommendations. If leaking from pipe/muffler junction use some high temp RTV in connection joint, and head pipe. WebJul 9, 2024 · Blue haze, FWIW, I've just finished rejetting a 2000 stock 500 (fmf gnarly, fresh top end and the head shaved for a bit more compression). I tried the fmf jetting specs but got pinging at 1/4 throttle and a slightly lean feel.. I went to 58 pilot, position 4 standard needle and a 172 main.

It was made by taking Yamaha 's manual recommendations and using the density altitude calculator to correct for altitude and temperature. -If you will be racing or running in open desert conditions, richen each jet by one size and the needle by 1/2 step.

Im going to a fifty. I'm at 0 sea level and high humidity. I have a 150 main with #42 pilot. Start's great. I have done the ap circuit mod. rechecked tps timing. I removed the back fire screens. Im using no-toil high flow airfilter. I also have the FMF power core 4 pipe. I ran from 290 in the Summer up to 330 in the Winter in my Banshee with stock carbs, milled head, porting, Toomey exhaust and modded air intake.
