Two concerns, one is a lot of wildlife photography is in lower lighting conditions and the 2X drops it to 11/14. Also, was surprised to see that the extender only works 300-500mm (not 1-299mm). When I first tried this, and looked at the photos, my eyes popped out of my head! Even wide open at f/8, this is a more than useable combination. The RF100-500 does take a slight hit with a 1.4x TC, but its still very useable. I haven't used the others with a TC, nor have I used 2x converters.
